In a November 19th article in Le Figaro, Vincent's daughter Iman expressed her opinions about being a  nepo baby. She explains, "Mentally it's exhausting to have to justify yourself all the time. When I was little, it was very hard for me. That's why I wanted to wait until I had more training as an actress. I wanted to be very prepared..." She admits, however, the advantages of inherited popularity. Open doors and intercept attention. Fashion campaigns financed her passion for horses and trips to show jumping competitions. It was the sport that, after giving up tennis, skiing or ballet, she had finally decided to commit herself to. She admits, "If I start something, I have to try to reach the highest level." Someday she hopes to return to horse shows. She misses the animals, but without a goal, she adds, the fun vanishes.

Vincent and Karine presented their film "Une Affaire d"Honneur" at the The vOilah! French Film Festival in Singapore. It was screened on November 19th at Shaw Theatres Lido and on the 20th at Alliance Française de Singapour. A discussion followed the screening.

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Alliance Française of Hong Kong, the teams of the Alliance Française of Hong Kong jointly launched the Hong Kong French Film Festival with  exceptional guests, among them Vincent and his wife, director Brigitte Sy, actor Damien Bonnard, composer Brigitte Thiriet, photographer and Studio Magazine's editor-in-chief, Luc Roux, and Jean-Pierre Lavoignat.

A Q&A session was held on November 23 with Vincent and Karine regarding "Une Affair d'Honneur". The pair discussed the film's exploration of 19th-century notions surrounding personal retaliation and honor. Karine also participated in a Q&A the day before with the screening of her documentary "Métissages".

On November 14, Vincent and his wife attended the world premiere of "Napoleon" at Salle Playel in Paris. When Tom Rothman, CEO of Sony Pictures, was asked about being on a red carpet in the French capital with a film steeped in Gallic history, he responded, "Well, it feels appropriate. If you’re gonna premiere the movie of Napoleon, a great epic by Ridley Scott, you should be in Paris. You should be in France."

Bénédicte Burguet of Vanity Fair did a spread dated November 4th on Vincent's daughter Iman, her cousin Sateen Besson (Luc Besson's daughter), and Eva Danino.

Burguet writes, "They are bringing a new wind to the world of the arts... They form the ideal trio to embody the chic trends of fall."

For several years, Iman has been working as a model but now she's focusing on becoming an actress (both careers her mother pursued). After doing "Les Amandiers" by family friend Valéria Bruni Tedeschi (2022), she was cast in "Petit Blond de la Casbah" by Alexandre Arcady (2023.) Both Iman and Eva star in "Une Affaire d'Honneur" to be released in France next month. Although cinema marked her childhood, 20-year-old Sateen is presently trying her hand at singing. Her song "Autumn Star" is featured on the soundtrack of her father's latest film, "Dogman".

There is presently another aspiring singer - Vincent's only son Pablo had a dream to become a basketball player and was enrolled at a Connecticut academy. That attempt obviously failed so now we discover he's trying out the role of a hip-hop/rap performer. Is it possible that the children of celebrities desire the limelight and have no interest in working in the fields of medicine, law, education, science, etc.?

Here are photos from August 31 at the 80th Venice Film Festival. Vincent's brother-in-law Luc Besson was having his film "Dogman" screened. The first photo shows Vincent's wife Karine with her sister Virginie, Luc's wife.

Vincent, wife Karine and daughter Iman attended Chanel's Métiers d'arts fashion show in Dakar, Senegal, last year. It was historically significant because it was the first Chanel show in a black African country. The venue was the Palace of Justice. Beginning with this event, Karine decided to film a documentary called  "Metissages" (Mixing), which focuses on fashion, culture and identity. The 70-minute film is available at the ARTE TV website for the next six months. The photos below were taken in Dakar on December 6, 2022.

Karine explains her background - "I was born in Dakar to a Senegalese father and a Breton mother. I also lived in Mali, Burkina Faso, Cameroon then in Canada, New York and, around the age of 24, in France. Our family (I have a sister and two brothers) traveled at the pace of our father, a diplomat at the United Nations. I have been going there all my life in Dakar without ever breaking away: we spent Christmas, Easter or sometimes summer holidays there. My brother lives there. I have many childhood friends there. My children were all baptized there. It’s really my second city. Senegal is my country as much as France."
