In a recent interview with
Swiss magazine, Femina, British actress Keira Knightley
confesses to a crush on Vincent. Can we blame her? When asked about
her ideal man, she answers, "At sixteen, I fell in love with Vincent
Perez in Queen Margot. There is no man more handsome than him
in my eyes. I know that this is a hopeless passion, but I'm a big
romantic and I like the impossible (laughs). Queen Margot is
my favorite movie and hopefully, I will act with Vincent Perez one
day. It is reassuring. I'm not crazy to the point of jumping on him.
I know he is perfectly happy in his private life, but that doesn't
stop me from dreaming."

Back in October, I mentioned
Vincent's upcoming Moscow photo exhibition. It
will be opening next week at the RuArts Gallery and will run through
January 19, 2013. The gallery supports the development of new trends
in contemporary art and promotes emerging artists, both Russian and
foreign. Vincent is expected to participate in the gallery's 8th
anniversary celebration on December 7th so check back here in
another week. His photographs will feature stars of the Paris Opera and
Bolshoi Theater. I can't say I'm terribly fond of men in dresses,
even with waxed chests. The photo of Vincent was taken back in March
at the RuArts Gallery.

Here are a couple photos of
Vincent's wife with Amanda Sthers attending the Capsule Dress
Gallery with a Launch Cocktail at the Bar De L'Eclaireur
on October 25. Though Karine is an ex-model and
continues to be fascinated with Paris fashion, you have to wonder
why she doesn't dress with more pizazz.

The film page for UN
PRINCE PRESQUE CHARMANT has been completed. The romantic
comedy, a Europa production, will be released on January 9, 2012.
You can watch the trailer
at this link. You'll note that Vincent is taking on a
different role as a very egotistic, impatient and sometimes angry
man. Gone is his dazzling smile and much of his charm.

I just discovered some info about a little known
short film Vincent made in 2010. It's called TEMPUS FUGIT
(yeah, time flies). Directed by Fred Grivois with Ultimatum
Productions, the synopsis reads: "They had a great idea: to rob an
oil company where they keep the cash bribes for African countries.
What they did not expect is that a suicide-bomber would be there for
the exact same reason. Just not the same goal. And you know the
rule: We do not negotiate with terrorists. Unless there is money to
be made." It's described as a 12-minute short action comedy and was
screened at three film festivals last year.

Vincent is attending the
Gucci Paris Masters 2012 at Paris Nord Villepinte.
The first photo was taken yesterday when stepdaughter Roxane Depardieu, a long-time horse lover,
also attended. The remaining photos were taken today. The Gucci
Paris Masters is one of the most popular horse shows of France.

On the eve of celebrating the 180th anniversary
of its watch and clock manufacture, Jaeger-LeCoultre
set a rendezvous with fine watchmaking lovers at No. 7, Place
Vendôme, the new brand flagship and the largest Jaeger-LeCoultre
boutique in the world. The Place Vendôme,
the vibrant heart of French-style luxury, welcomed Jaeger-LeCoultre
guests on November 20. Those guests included Vincent, guests included Catherine Deneuve,
Diane, Kruger, Carmen Chaplin, Isabelle Huppert
and Inès de la Fressange. This is the 21st
century. I don't understand why anyone needs a watch. For more
photos, follow this link.

Vincent's name was again tied
to Jaeger-Coultre back in early September at the Veytay Polo Club in
Mies (Vaud). Before an enthusiastic audience of over 5,000 people,
the host team, Veytay Jaeger-Coulture won the final match against
defending champion Lynx Energy. The September 2nd sports event also
gave Vincent an opportunity to discover the latest creations from
the Grande Maison in the Vallée de Joux.
The first photo below is a portrait from the event featured in the
November 2012 issue of Cote magazine. And the man in the blue shirt is
polo champion Eduardo Novillo Astrada.
Vincent also displays an
interest in other luxurious watches, such as Parmiagiani
Fleurier Swiss watches, as seen in this recent photo. I like the
expression on his face.

Oh,
my!!! Last week a fake report of Vincent's death spread quickly
causing concern among fans across the world.
Rumors of the actor’s alleged demise gained traction on Friday after
a ‘R.I.P. Vincent Perez’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million
of ‘likes’. Those who read the ‘About’ page were given a believable
account of the Swiss actor’s passing.
Hundreds of fans immediately started writing their messages of
condolence on the Facebook page, expressing their sadness that
Vincent had died. And as usual, Twittersphere was
frenzied over the death hoax.
Where as some trusting fans believed the post, others were
immediately skeptical of the report, perhaps learning their lesson
from the huge amount of fake death reports emerging about
celebrities over recent months. Some pointed out that the news had
not been carried on any major Swiss network, indicating that it was
a fake report, as the death of an actor of Vincent Perez's stature
would be major news across networks. On Saturday (November 17), the
actor's reps officially confirmed that Vincent was not dead.
Some fans have expressed anger at the fake report saying it was
reckless, distressing and hurtful to fans of the much loved actor.
Others say this shows his extreme popularity across the globe.

Renault Zoe will be appearing in
Vincent's upcoming romantic comedy,
UN PRINCE PRESQUE CHARMANT, (A Prince Almost Charming),
directed by Philippe Lellouche. Renault
Zoe is the first car to be designed as an all electric model. It is
ideally suited for daily use and is seen with the most advanced
technology. Vincent plays Jean-Marc, a career-mad
and self-obsessed 40's something with no time to spare until his
path crosses that of Marie, played by Vahina Giocante. The business
man and young woman have nothing in common and should never have
met, but fate decides otherwise. Marie bring a touch of much-needed
calm to the transformation of Jean-Marc. The film was shot outside
the first movie studios built in Billancourt near Paris alongside
Renault's factories. The film will debut in France on January 9th.

When Activision released its
newest title, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Vincent attended
the launch party. It was held at the Virgin Megastore on the Champs
Elysées on November 12th. He joined other
celebrities, such as Virginie Ledoyen, and copies of the game sold
at lightning speed. However, Vincent admitted this was not his "cup
of tea" and attended as a favor to his godson.

Vincent
lent his support for Kazakhstan on November 8th at a reception
sponsored by the International Exhibitions Bureau. It seems Liège
and the Kazakhstan city of Astana are vying to host the International Exhibition in 2017. The Astana team invited several
people to support their candidancy. Having visited the country last
year when his photography was exhibited, Vincent spoke about how he
had been personally intrigued and seduced by Kazakhstan and its
friendly people. He described the young country as eager to learn
and grow and completely open to the world. The photo above shows
Vincent speaking with the master of ceremonies.
